Philadelphia at NY Rangers 12:00 PM ET
The New York Rangers look to continue their home dominance of the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon, when the Metropolitan Division rivals reconvene at Madison Square Garden for Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. New York scored twice during a four-minute power play midway through the third period to skate to a 4-1 triumph in the series opener on Thursday.
Detroit at Boston 3:00 PM ET
The Boston Bruins were the only team in the league to win at least 30 games at home this season, but the underdog Detroit Red Wings needed just one contest to wrest away home-ice advantage. The top-seeded Bruins will look to rebound from a 1-0 defeat when they host Detroit on Sunday in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first-round series. "It's just one game," Boston's David Krejci said.
Tampa Bay at Montreal 7:00 PM ET
The Montreal Canadiens can put a stranglehold on their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 on Sunday night. The third-seeded Canadiens won both games in Tampa Bay and can push the second-seeded Lightning to the brink of elimination in the best-of-seven series with a win on their home ice. "We are playing as a unit right now," said Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, who came within 1:59 of a shutout in Game 2.
Los Angeles at San Jose 10:00 PM ET
The opening game of the Western Conference first-round series between the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings certainly didn't resemble the tightly contested seven-game war in which the Pacific Division rivals battled in the second round last postseason. Capitalizing on home-ice advantage did follow the script, however, and San Jose looks to continue the trend when it hosts Los Angeles in Game 2 on Sunday.
