BLACKHAWKS 4, RANGERS 3: Patrick Sharp and defenseman Johnny Oduya scored 62 seconds apart late in the third period as Chicago continued its strong play at home by topping New York.

All-Star Patrick Kane netted a goal and set up another, rookie Andrew Shaw also tallied while Sharp and Oduya each added an assist for the Blackhawks, who have won nine of 11 at the United Center.

After Brandon Prust gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead less than 7 1/2 minutes into the third, the Blackhawks forged a tie as Sharp completed a nifty passing sequence following a turnover.

Kane gained possession in the right faceoff circle and dished the puck to Marian Hossa. From the right side of the crease, Hossa fed Sharp, who beat All-Star Henrik Lundqvist from the left circle for his 26th goal.

Just over a minute later, Oduya blasted the puck past Lundqvist from above the left circle for his third tally of the season and first in five games with Chicago.

Kane scored an empty-netter with 53 seconds remaining, and the goal proved crucial as New York's Brad Richards tallied 19 seconds later. But the Rangers were unable to get the equalizer, completing their winless three-game road trip.

New York got on the board with 47 seconds remaining in the first period. John Mitchell kept the puck in the offensive zone at the left point and dished it to Artem Anisimov, who beat Ray Emery from alone on the doorstep.

The Blackhawks evened the contest with 5 1/2 minutes left in the second as Shaw tipped Oduya's left-point shot past Lundqvist for his second goal in 16 games.

Lundqvist made 18 saves for the Eastern Conference-leading Rangers, who have lost three straight for the first time since opening the season with an 0-1-2 record.
